"Building industry’s Grand Prix in 2015” in the category "Young engineer of the year" receives SKONTO PREFAB engineer Andrejs Semjonovs

Latvian President personally presented the highest Award in the construction industry "Building industry’s Grand Prix in 2015” („Būvindustrijas lielās balva 2015”) in the category "Young engineer of the year" to SKONTO PREFAB structural engineer Andrejs Semjonovs, who managed during the three years to become a group leading engineer.

On 3 September 2015, at a formal ceremony in the Latvian National Library Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis, Economics Minister Dana Reizniece - Ozola and the Environmental Protection and Regional Development Minister Kaspars Gerhards presented awards to twelve best Latvian engineers, architects, building materials manufacturers, teachers and scientists, nominated by the public organizations of the construction industry and professionals.

For finding out this year’s winners of the "Building industry’s Grand Prix in 2015” the industry’s non-governmental organizations formed a large and knowledgeable 30 persons jury to estimat 31 candidates, which were nominated by companies, public organizations, local authorities, employers, clients and individuals.
