Project "Botanikern"

Project “Botanikern” located in Bromma is one of largest CLT constructions in Sweden. The building has 9 floors and consists of 133 apartments, spacious garage and storage facilities. First two floors are made of prefabricated concrete elements and load bearing elements for top seven floors were build using cross laminated timber and glulam elements, even stairs and balconies were produced from CLT. CLT is eco-friendly material and its production technology allows to minimize air pollution.
This building has passed fire and sound tests, confirming that the CLT structures are competitive for concrete and can be used for high-rise constructions.
